Life is Beautiful 2023 is Here!

Prepare Yourself for the 10 Year Celebration of Life is Beautiful

Prepare to be immersed in a world of music, art, and culinary delights as Life is Beautiful returns to Las Vegas in 2023. This dynamic festival promises an unforgettable experience, featuring some of the hottest acts in the music industry, an array of delectable food and beverages, captivating art installations, and so much more. Whether you're a seasoned festival-goer or it's your first time, our guide is here to ensure you make the most of your time at Life is Beautiful.

Plan Ahead for Limited Cell Service

  • Plan Meeting Points: Before you venture out with your group, establish meeting times and locations. Cell service within the festival grounds can be unreliable, especially during peak hours. Forget about real-time social media updates – text messages might not reach you until the wee hours of the morning, long after you've returned to your hotel.

Explore All That Life is Beautiful Offers

  • Diverse Attractions: Life is Beautiful isn't just about music; it's a sensory feast. In addition to the incredible musical acts, you'll find captivating art installations, a culinary paradise, and a vibrant beer and spirits garden. Local celebrity chefs whip up mouthwatering dishes you won't want to miss. If you plan on dancing the night away, fuel up with these delectable options. Before you go, create a schedule of must-see performances and stages. While you wait for your favorite bands, explore the local art scene – a festival map can be a valuable companion, as you may not always have access to the festival app.

Getting to Life is Beautiful

  • Transportation Matters: If you're driving to the festival, be prepared for parking fees, but the process is efficient. Pay for parking, hop on a shuttle, and you'll arrive without hassle. Carpooling is a smart choice. Alternatively, if you intend to fully enjoy the festival's offerings, consider a Lyft or ride-sharing service with friends. After indulging in fun activities, it's never wise to get behind the wheel after consuming alcohol – your safety comes first.

Packing Essentials

  • Baggage Check: Small bags are allowed but expect them to be inspected upon entry. Leave any prohibited items at home, including illegal drugs, hula hoops, weapons, outside food and beverages, and pets. However, you can bring blankets, baby strollers, portable phone chargers, soft-sided coolers (up to the size of a 12-pack of beer), empty Camelbak, binoculars, two unopened bottles of water (up to one liter), and glow sticks.

Dress and Hydrate Accordingly

  • Weather Precautions: If you're arriving early, apply sunscreen and consider bringing layers. Fall in Las Vegas can range from warm to cool, much like the capricious nature of our casino dealers. Dressing for the summer heat might leave you shivering by nightfall.
  • Stay Hydrated: Keep in mind that even though it's fall, you're still in the arid desert of Las Vegas. Stay hydrated throughout the day; proper hydration will help you avoid potential dangerous health conditions.

Dining Options at Life is Beautiful

  • Budget Wisely: Be mindful of prices, which can be slightly inflated during the festival, even in casino restaurants. Plan to spend around $10 for a meal and $8 for a drink. Fortunately, there's a wide selection of downtown restaurants to choose from. However, if you have dietary restrictions, plan your dining choices accordingly.

With these tips, you'll be well-prepared to make the most of your Life is Beautiful 2023 experience in Las Vegas. Enjoy the festival to the fullest!

Nestled in the heart of Las Vegas, Wagging Tails Rescue is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to saving homeless and abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters and owner surrenders. Unlike traditional shelters, Wagging Tails Rescue operates through a network of loving volunteers and foster homes, providing temporary safe havens for dogs — especially pregnant moms and orphaned puppies — until they find their forever families. With no physical facility, the rescue’s strength lies in its community of passionate foster caregivers who nurture these pups with love, care, and attention. Beyond rescuing dogs, Wagging Tails Rescue champions responsible pet ownership through education on spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and proper nutrition. Want to meet some of these adorable dogs and maybe even adopt? Keep an eye on their Instagram @waggingtailsrescuelv for updates on frequent adoption events. From fun puppy yoga sessions to gatherings at Petco and even “Puppies and Pints” at Lovelady Brewery, there are plenty of opportunities to support and connect with this amazing rescue. Every wagging tail tells a story — and at Wagging Tails Rescue, those stories always end with hope and a happy home.

If you’re a first-time visitor to Las Vegas, the idea of paying for parking might not be as big of a deal as it is to those of us who’ve been around for a while. Just a few years ago, it was practically unheard of to pay for parking on The Strip. Free parking was a standard expectation for both locals and casino guests alike. But times have changed, and many of the big casinos along the iconic Las Vegas Strip have started charging for parking. While we’ll let you draw your own conclusions about whether or not parking fees are justified (locals, we feel your pain), we’re here to guide you on where to park on the Las Vegas Strip. So, buckle up, and check out our list to see where you can park for free as a local! First three hours of self-parking are free for locals: • The Aria • The Bellagio • Caesar’s Palace • The Cosmopolitan • The Cromwell • The Excalibur • The Flamingo • The LINQ • Luxor • The MGM & Park MGM • Planet Hollywood • Wynn & the Encore Free Parking across the board • Rio • The Palms As a final tip when it comes to visiting the strip: Check and see if the casino does any sort of parking validation. A lot of times they will give you free parking if you spend a certain amount of money inside, are a guest (on a staycation) or are a certain tier level among their rewards programs. Remember, it never hurts to ask. If you're visiting Las Vegas, be sure to check with your hotel about whether parking and valet services are included when you book your room. It's a cost worth factoring into your trip planning!
